A horoscope for your own chart

Your Sun sign is one part of your chart. Add your birth date, time and place and the personal page lists today's transits to your own planets and the house the Moon is crossing for you.

How these horoscopes are written

Each reading is written by software from the day's planetary positions: the sign the Moon is in, the aspects the planets make to each other, and any planet that changes sign or turns retrograde. The positions come from the same engine that draws the charts on this site.

Every sign page shows the sky behind its reading: the exact positions the text is written from, with the time each aspect is exact. You can see what the day's text rests on.

Your Sun sign is a starting point. The houses on these pages are counted by whole signs from your Sun sign, which gives a sound first reading. For your real houses you need your own chart and your birth time.

Questions about the horoscope

How are these horoscopes written?

They are written by software from the day's planetary positions: where the Moon and the planets are, the aspects they make and the signs they enter. Each sign page lists those positions as the sky behind it, so you can see what the text is based on.

When does the horoscope change?

At midnight where you are. Each page holds yesterday, today and tomorrow and shows the one that matches your date, wherever you read it.

Which sign should I read?

Start with your Sun sign, the sign of your birthday. Many people read their rising sign too: it sets the houses of your chart, so it shows where the day's planets fall for you. The Big 3 calculator finds your rising sign from your birth time.

Why are there no ratings or lucky numbers?

Nothing in the sky produces a score out of ten or a lucky colour, so these pages don't invent one. Every line comes from a real position.

Can I get a horoscope for my own chart?

Yes. The personal horoscope reads today's transits against your own birth chart. Enter your birth date, time and place once and the page keeps them on this device.
