Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use upastrology.com and the UpAstrology apps, operated by Vedic Rishi Astro Solutions Pvt Ltd, D-3/60, SVP Nagar, Versova MHADA, Andheri-West, Mumbai 400053, Maharashtra, India. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who can use UpAstrology

You must be at least 16, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. If you use the service for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

2. Your account

You can sign in with an email one-time code or with Google. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time on the account deletion page.

3. What the service is, and is not

UpAstrology offers astrology calculators, horoscopes, reports and an AI astrologer. They are for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological or relocation advice. Please read our Disclaimer. Answers from the AI astrologer are generated by software and may be incomplete or wrong.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• enter another person's birth details unless you are entitled to;
• scrape, copy at scale, reverse engineer or overload the service;
• try to gain unauthorised access, or introduce malware;
• resell our reports or content without our written permission.

5. Paid reports and prices

Paid reports are digital and are delivered to your email. The price and currency are shown at checkout before you pay, and include taxes where the law requires. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal. Please check your birth details before ordering. Refunds and cancellations are explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The site, software, text, charts, designs and reports are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use a report you bought for your own personal purposes. Otherwise you may not copy or distribute our content without permission.

7. Content you provide

You keep ownership of what you submit (such as messages or feedback). You give us permission to use it to run the service and respond to you. You are responsible for it being accurate and lawful. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party links and services

The service may link to other websites and use third-party services such as payment providers and maps. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or to protect the service or other users. We will tell you why where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property and liability) will continue.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that astrological content is accurate, complete or suitable for any decision, or that the service will always be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on astrological content. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or intentional or grossly negligent harm, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law and your consumer rights

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra, India have jurisdiction, subject to the following. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.

If you have a complaint, please email mail@upastrology.com first. We try to resolve disputes directly and fairly by email before any formal step.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms. Orders already placed stay under the terms in force when you placed them.
